V-CRX is a digital fan festival that celebrates all things anime. Featuring unique panels, exclusive merchandise, and world premieres, this multi-day event happens August 5-7. We'll continue to reveal more info as we get closer to showtime, so keep coming back!

Commemorative virtual badges will be emailed closer to the show.

You can technically register at any time, but we are giving away monthly digital pre-show prize packs through July 31, so register early to get as many as you can!

Of course! It is a global event after all. However, we do want to point out that certain content, like our Meet & Greet sessions, may be blocked based on your country’s internet policy,  or because of specific content restrictions.

The show will mostly be in English or Japanese with English subtitles, but we’ll likely have some content in other languages. Stay tuned!

Tickets for exclusive content, like Meet & Greet sessions, will be available closer to the show.

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo welcomes attendees of all abilities. The landscape of interactive digital conferences is evolving fast, and we’re working just as fast to evolve V-CRX so that everyone has a seamless, fully accessible experience.

Please note! When searching the V-CRX Schedule, you may select event filters for those with Communication Access Real-Time Translation (i.e. CART/live-captioning). And because V-CRX is a global event, you may also select filters for content that is already subtitled in various languages. Please also note that all of our live panels will feature CART. 

If you need any different or additional assistance, including live-captioning on other events or purchased Meet & Greets, please reach out to us right away at CrunchyrollADA@reedpop.com and we will do our best to support your request. Please note that requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance to allow sufficient time for preparation (and, because this is all digital, possible operational or systemic adjustments).

Crunchyroll and ReedPop are fully committed to providing an accessible experience to all guests and will consider any request by a guest with a disability for reasonable modification of its policies, practices, or procedures or for auxiliary aids and services that will permit equal enjoyment of the goods and services offered at V-CRX. Additionally, we acknowledge that, despite our best efforts, we may not always succeed. A digital meet & greet is separate, ticketed experience to meet with voice actors for a window of time (~2-3 mins.) to talk to a voice actor exclusively via video chat.

Depending on the voice actor, there could also be an option to receive a digital autograph as part of the experience. See details of each event.

In all cases, a recording of the event will be available and accessible on the confirmation page of your purchase.

Sessions available while supplies last.

Find your confirmation email and click the “View Your Order Online” button. It will send you to a confirmation page. Scroll down to the “Your Order” section to find a rectangle containing your meet & greet details. To enter the waiting room, click the “Click Here to Access Session Lobby” button.

All ticket times are listed in Pacific Time, so please make a note of the potential time difference. For example, if a session is slated for 1P (ET), and you live in Oregon, it will start at 10A (PT). You can find a time zone converter here.

Please note: Many fans will have purchased meet & greets for the same day. This means your session may not start punctually, so you will be waiting in the lobby until it is your turn. If you are not at your computer when we come to you, you will be placed back in the waiting room.

  • Your V-CRX registration.
  • Your confirmation email from your purchase of the digital meet & greet.
  • A reliable internet connection.
  • A supported web browser - Chrome, Firefox (for Android or Linux), Safari 11 (iOS), Chrome, Firefox, or Safari 11 (macOS), Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (Windows).
  • A working webcam connected to your device or a camera on your phone or tablet.
  • A working microphone connected to your device. We recommend a tablet, laptop, or desktop, and not a mobile device.

Others are welcome if they are in the same physical location and on the same device, but they will not be able to “virtually” join from a different location. Also, please be mindful of current social distancing rules. We do not advise participating in a meet & greet with someone outside of your household.

You will have the chance to ask questions and chat with the voice actor during your allotted time. To make the most of it, here are some tips:

DO:

  • Pick a quiet location free from distractions.
  • Think of questions you want to ask ahead of time and write them down. Try asking questions that have short answers.
  • Be patient – remember there are others in line and that you’ll have to wait your turn.

DON’T:

  • Express frustration with the process to the voice actor. They are trying to accommodate everyone.
  • Ask inappropriate questions or do anything that makes the voice actor feel uncomfortable.
  • Photograph or record the meet & greet. Specific allowances or restrictions will be mentioned on your ticket. If a voice actor allows selfies, ALWAYS ask before taking the photo.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:

  • There will be a timer in the chat, so you will know how much time is left.
  • Your session will be recorded and shared with you as a keepsake. Please let the admins know if you would prefer not to be recorded.
  • If persons under 18 are present during a live session, they must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
  • No profanity.
  • No nudity.

Candid photos and recordings are not allowed. Specific allowances or restrictions will be mentioned on your ticket. If a voice actor allows selfies, ALWAYS ask before taking the photo.

You will be removed from the experience without refund, and possibly from V-CRX as well – depending on the nature of the violation.

First, check your spam and junk folders to see if the email is there. If not, we can resend the confirmation.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds if you miss your session, so please make sure you are prepared before it begins.

Absolutely. In the unlikely event that something unforeseen prevents the voice actor from participating, we will automatically notify you via email, and refund your full purchase to your original form of payment. No action is needed on your part. Please allow five business days for it to show on your statement.

If something goes wrong during a session, technical assistance will be provided. Prior to the meet & greet, we cannot offer any outside assistance and ask that you have a working knowledge of the technology involved.
